Usage of nano silica: (1) In the coating grinding stage, it is added together with other fillers, or first added into the water-based color paste for dispersion, and then mixed together into the lotion. (2) The addition ratio is about 5-10% (introducing 4-8% solvent water).
Application field, addition amount (%), product characteristics and performance:
1. Waterborne coatings and alkyd resin paints: Adding 2.5-25 (introducing solvent water of 2-20%) can have thickening, thixotropy, anti settling, anti sagging, increased strength, increased wear resistance, increased weather resistance, and extinction effects.
2. Acrylic resin paint: 1.5-12.5 (introducing solvent water of 1.2-10%)
3. Other water-based paints: 2.5-12.5 (introducing solvent water 2-10%)
4. Water based wood paint: 5% (4% solvent water introduced) extinction, enhancement, increased wear resistance, and increased weather resistance
5. Water based color paste: 5% (4% solvent water introduced) anti settling
6. Waterborne ink: 5% (4% solvent water introduced) thickening, thixotropy, anti settling, increased brightness and contrast
7. CMP polishing solution: directly used or diluted according to requirements with high solid content and high dispersibility
By adding a small amount of nano silica to the coating, the UV aging resistance test performance of the coating can be improved from 250 hours to over 600 hours, the scrub resistance can be increased by more than 10 times, the drying time can be greatly reduced, and the problems of poor suspension stability, poor thixotropy, and low smoothness of the raw materials can also be well solved. The opening effect of the inner and outer wall coatings with the addition of nano silica is also significantly improved, and the coating is not layered, anti sagging, and has good workability. The anti fouling performance is greatly improved, and it has excellent self-cleaning and adhesion.
