Product application:
1. Coating: Adding CY-SP30B to the coating has excellent extinction performance. After adding 0.5-10% nano silica (which needs to be fully dispersed), its suspension stability, thixotropy, and bonding strength between the coating and substrate are significantly improved. The drying time is shortened, and the artificially accelerated UV aging test time is doubled. The washing resistance is increased from several thousand times to tens of thousands of times, and the anti fouling performance of the coating is also significantly improved.
2. Plastics: Nano silica is fully dispersed in polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and other plastic raw materials, which can greatly improve the strength, toughness, wear resistance and aging resistance of plastic products. The good transparency and small particles of nano silica can make plastics denser. Especially for semi transparent plastic films, the addition of nano silica not only improves the transparency, strength, and toughness of the film, but more importantly, greatly enhances its waterproof performance. Experimental results have shown that the permeability of conventional PVC (polyvinyl chloride) films is 1.5 times higher than that of PVC with added nano silica.
3. Adhesive: Nano silica used in adhesives can greatly improve bonding strength. The tensile strength and elongation increased by 21% and 23% respectively compared to those without nano silica fillers.
4. Inkjet printing and photo paper: The coating is made of nanoscale silica material, forming extremely fine inorganic organic composite particles. After printing, the ink is immediately absorbed by honeycomb like micropores, and the coating has strong ink absorption. It can also show a good sense of layering for printing parts with deep tones; It dries quickly and can be directly touched when coming out of the printer; The coating material is very delicate and also has good waterproof performance, even if soaked in water for a few hours, it can maintain its original state. Its advantages are "three highs and one speed": high gloss, high waterproofing, high ink absorption, and fast drying.
